The new category is a fresh face to the ActionVFX library, and it's called Optics. This new category also houses two brand new collections, Icon: Anamorphic Lens Flares and Pursuit: Police Light Lens Flares. Both of these collections are perfect to include on top of your other effects or any light source that would produce a flare. When appropriate, compositing the right lens flares to a scene can add an extra level of professionalism. We're here to help you with that!

Icon Lens Flares were designed with one goal in mind: To help you achieve maximum realism in your shot.
These lens flares are heavily curated by the elite ActionVFX product designers, and consists of 45 different high-quality anamorphic lens flares shot on RED with a Cooke Anamorphic/i SF lense. You know us, if we're going to do it, we're going to do it the right way.
Variations include focal length of the lens, movement of the light source (some have visible light sources), ability to loop, and a different look for each one.
In summary, you can drag and drop these elements right on top of your scene or light source to instantaneously achieve a more stunning shot.

The Pursuit Lens Flares are the perfect elements for first responder scenes or someone getting chased by police (the video above shows a great example of this). These elements energize your scene and title sequences instantly, giving it a more captivating feel. They were shot on RED with a Cooke Anamorphic/i SF lense.
There are multiple patterns of flashing lights and you can even change the color easily! This will help you create lens flares for fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, you name it.
