Lockdown is a handy plugin that can track warping surfaces and blend VFX elements seamlessly.

The incredible After Effects plugin Lockdown not only makes the process of tracking warping surfaces much easier, but it can attach VFX stock footage to the bending surface just as easy.

Chris Vranos, the creator of Lockdown, breaks down this process in a speedy one-minute tutorial. He shows you how to track the surface, as well as pinning ActionVFX bleeding wound stock to the surface.
In summary, the insane accuracy and effectiveness can be seen in five steps.

1. Add the Lockdown effect, then click and drag over the area that you want to track & select "Track All".
2. After you track, press the Lockdown button. It forms a new stabilized composition.
Pressing the button "Lockdown"
3. Double click the new comp and delete the preview "Checkerboard".
4. Drag your VFX stock element into the shot (You can now see its exact placement on the stabilized shot).
5. If you return to your main composition, your element is already tracked.

After these five steps, the necessary adjustments such as any masking, color correction, or anything else needed, you can hop back into your stabilized comp Lockdown made for you.

Right now, Lockdown and ActionVFX elements are on sale! You can save 25% off on Lockdown by using code 'CYBER' by Dec. 4th.
