In this tutorial, we will show you how to create realistic condensation effects using our Surface Condensation collection in After Effects.

Adding visual effects like condensation on a window or mirror in post can not only save time but also keep your camera equipment nice and dry. In this tutorial, we will learn how to composite this wet, foggy glass condensation effect in Adobe After Effects.

It's a pretty easy effect to create, but there are a few steps you need to keep in mind to get it right. We'll show you how to do it, so you can add the effect to your footage and projects.

This AE tutorial will cover:

  • How to composite Surface Condensation elements to create a realistic wet glass effect on a mirror.
  • Using simple masks to create a hand-wiping effect.
  • Using adjustment layers to create reflections in the mirror.
