Before we begin, the ActionVFX brand has become synonymous with high-quality VFX products. The very foundation of our mission is built on creating the undisputed best library of highly usable VFX stock footage and providing it to the artists that need it. That's what has driven us for the past 5 years and will always be what people expect of ActionVFX.

The Contributor Program is no different, and the assets submitted through this program will be reviewed with the same meticulous craft and detail we use when creating our own products.

1. Real assets that have been filmed practically. The vast majority of the stock footage in our library includes organic elements that have been captured on the latest RED sensors.

While shooting on the latest cameras isn't a direct requirement, all submissions should include properly framed and properly exposed elements. Assets shouldn't break the edge of the frame or have the highlights blown out.

2. CG products that have been created digitally. There are no limits to what category your simulations may fall into, so these could be things such as fluid simulations, explosions, fire, sci-fi/magical effects, and more.

We have several stock footage elements that reflect quality CG products, such as our Energy FX or our Large Scale Gas Explosions. And while multi-channel EXR passes aren't a direct requirement, the more useful features included in your submission, the more interested we will be!

Regardless of the type of asset you're interested in contributing, we encourage you to explore our current elements and the product videos that come with it to get a feel for the quality and specifications that meet the ActionVFX standard.

At the time, we are only interested in one-time buyouts and will not be considering royalty-based arrangements at this time.
