The trick to staying up-to-date on all of the latest VFX trends is to find the right people to follow. The content you consume will reflect in your work and if you are watching the best VFX artists’ work chances are your work will slowly start to look the same.

Their Vimeo channel is the perfect place to see their latest work and find some sweet mograph inspiration. This spot created for Converse showcases Framestores commitment to creating stunning 3D and particle work.

Inline with Framestore, Method is another wonderful channel for VFX inspiration. Method is often tasked with creating shots for Marvel so you know they have to be good. Their channel is full of their work from over the years. 

Even their old stuff can humble the best VFX artists out there. In case you didn’t see it here are the beautiful titles they created for the first Avengers movie.

Greyscalegorilla inspires VFX artist by showing them how to create stunning works of art. With their collection of dozens of tutorials it would take you weeks to watch all of the content and even more to master. 

But the thing I really like about Greyscalegorilla is their commitment to creating amazing things. All of their tutorials show you how to create something awesome.

Atomic Fiction is one of the trendiest VFX houses in Hollywood right now. Their work has received many awards over the last few years and they happily share VFX breakdowns on their Vimeo channel. 

One of their more interesting breakdowns on their channel is the Deadpool breakdown where they show how they created the cityscape.

Makevision’s massive VFX work can be seen on their stunning Vimeo channel. From car commercials to epic blockbusters they create stunning VFX work that will definitely get your creative juices flowing. 

Their work is incredibly complex in scope and execution, but they masterfully create inspiring works of art as good as anyone else.
